Our first Glitz 'n Golf Fundraiser was a smashing success!

November 7th, 2019 Dress 2 SOAR hosted our first big charity event at Top Golf in Roseville called Glitz n Golf. We wanted to create a classy, elevated charity event that blended a night of fine dining, glitzy outfits and purpose filled talks about the plight of foster youth with everyone’s favorite pastime...golf. Also included in the evening was an engaging and energetic auctioneer by the name of Freddie Silveria. He brought the house down with his inspired efforts to raise awareness and funds for the program. Rachel Hills efforts leading the event made this beautiful night possible. Her class, vision, warmth and ability to see the big picture brought the whole night together. LRG Lending’s Negin and Carl Lewis were not only our title sponsor but integral volunteers in developing the program over the past few years. And we were honored to have over 20 Bay sponsors supporting our efforts. Waterhouse Management Corp, Sutter Health System of Mental HealthDress and the Rudis Family were our other major sponsors who made the event possible.

Dress 2 SOAR is primarily a volunteer led program so it truly takes a village to impact the teens we serve. We are so honored and grateful for the outpouring of love and support our program received during the event. We raised over $50,000 which will allow us to put on a prom for Koinonia Homes for Teens and fund many of our programs in 2020.
